Vermont fire depts get nearly $900,000 in grants (Boston Globe)

Nine Vermont fire departments are sharing nearly $900,000 in federal grants. The grants were announced by Sen. Bernie Sanders and U.S. Fire Administrator Kelvin Cochran, who hosted a summit with firefighters and emergency medical services personnel Saturday at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center.
